Assistant, Casting & Events

New York City / Los Angeles / Lagos        On-site        On-call

Responsibilities

  • Check in models and ensure a smooth (incoming and outgoing) flow of models.

  • Track attendants and manage time efficiently.

  • Answer phones and respond to emails that pertain to event inquiries.

  • Answer questions guests may have and guide them when needed.

  • Ensure that the terms and conditions of each event are being followed by the models/guests.

  • Give instructions to models when necessary.

Core Competencies

  • Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and should be able to speak confidently and concisely in front of varying groups of people.

  • Must possess a professional, friendly and outgoing demeanor.

  • Must be self-confident, reliable and highly organized.

  • Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver.

Technical Skills

  • Basic computer skills are required.

Expectations/Requirements

  • At least 1 year in casting, production, fashion, entertainment or any related field (preferred, not required) and 2+ years in hospitality.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Should have a good sense of humor (you know what all work and no play does to Jack).

  • Must be able to interact with guests/models kindly, confidently and professionally.

  • Able to manage time efficiently and prioritize workload.

  • Must be detail-oriented, ensuring a smooth flow at every event.

  • Ideal candidate is friendly, confident and thorough in their interactions.

  • Proactive, reliable and trustworthy.
